What we are looking for

We are currently seeking a Technician assistant that has some installation, service, & inspection experience in any of the following fields: Fire alarm, Area of Rescue/Refuge, BDA and other life safety systems.

Duties/Responsibilities/Tasks

Assist the lead Fire Alarm Technician with servicing, installing, inspecting, and troubleshooting a variety of systems
Provide a positive experience in all customer interactions
Utilize CRM software to annotate notes/documentation of completed work

Additional Requirements

Willing to submit to drug testing and background check
Valid Driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to work a full-time schedule
Available for local and out of state travel (per diem compensated)
Reliable transportation
Relocate to Tallahassee or surrounding area or use personal transportation to travel to job sites (maintenance and gas will be reimbursed)

Regular Work Schedule

Monday-Friday // and sometimes weekends

*Overtime will be compensated.

The scheduled hours vary as we work in coordination with other companies. We also like to give our employees as much autonomy over their working hours as possible

Beard Bros BDA LLC. is a small but steadily growing life safety systems company who specializes in commercial fire alarm, voice evacuation, smoke control, and BDA systems. Based out of Tallahassee FL we pride ourselves in being efficient and experts in our field.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 70 per week
