Overview
We are seeking a skilled Carpenter/Laborer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various carpentry and construction tasks, demonstrating proficiency in both hand and power tools. This role requires a commitment to quality workmanship and safety on the job site, as well as the ability to read blueprints and schematics effectively. Responsibilities

Perform trim and frame carpentry tasks with precision and attention to detail
Utilize hand tools and power tools safely and effectively for various construction projects
Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and construction plans to execute projects accurately
Engage in concrete forming, plastering, and rebar installation as needed
Assist in fabrication, fixture installation, and cabinet installation
Participate in roofing, siding, flooring installation, tile laying, and door hanging activities
Conduct water damage restoration and mold remediation tasks when required
Collaborate with team members on remodeling projects while maintaining a clean work environment
Execute maintenance person duties including plumbing, electrical work, masonry, caulking, and construction painting
Lift heavy materials safely as part of daily responsibilities

Skills

Strong knowledge of construction estimating techniques
Proficiency in trim carpentry, frame carpentry, woodworking, and metal stud framing
Familiarity with restoration industry practices including water damage restoration and mold remediation
Ability to perform heavy lifting consistently throughout the workday
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on quality craftsmanship
Previous experience on construction sites is preferred
