We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a crucial role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing and serving high-quality beverages and food items. Your expertise in coffee preparation and customer service will contribute to an exceptional experience for our patrons.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and food items according to established recipes and standards.
Operate the POS system efficiently for order processing and cash handling.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, ensuring adherence to food safety and hygiene standards.
Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
Assist with inventory management, including ordering supplies and monitoring stock levels.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
Uphold company policies regarding food handling and safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in food service or food preparation is preferred.
Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively.
Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Familiarity with POS systems and cash handling procedures.
Knowledge of food safety practices is essential.
A genuine passion for coffee and willingness to learn about different brewing techniques.
Ability to work well in a team-oriented environment while also being self-motivated.
Strong communication skills to interact positively with customers and colleagues.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
