CoCo's Monkey is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic animal loving Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service while assisting resort guests in finding the products they need. You will play a key role in driving sales and ensuring a positive CoCo's Monkey shopping experience for all customers. You will also receive hourly pay plus commission.

Responsibilities

Greet and assist customers as they enter the store and lobby, providing a welcoming atmosphere.
Maintain knowledge of product information to effectively assist customers.
Operate the cash register and handle transactions accurately using POS systems.
Stock shelves and organize merchandise to ensure a neat and visually appealing store layout.
Inventory management
Supervise and train new staff members on store policies and procedures as needed.
Utilize retail math skills to manage inventory levels and assist in ordering supplies.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance customer purchases while maintaining a focus on their needs.
Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues with professionalism and courtesy, demonstrating excellent phone etiquette when necessary.
Maintain a clean store
Assist with resort events and provide content for social media outlets

Skills

Strong sales skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems.
Basic understanding of retail math for inventory management.
Experience in stocking merchandise efficiently and maintaining store organization.
Ability to supervise team members, fostering a collaborative work environment.
Excellent phone etiquette for customer interactions over the phone.
Previous experience in a high-end retail environment is preferred but not required.

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
