Job Summary:

The Warehouse Receiver is responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing incoming shipments in a timely and accurate manner. This role ensures that all materials and products are accounted for, properly labeled, and stored in the correct locations. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, organized, and capable of working in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

· Receive and inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and damage.

· Verify packing slips and purchase orders against received items.

· Accurately log received items into the inventory management system.

· Label and tag items according to warehouse standards.

· Communicate discrepancies or damaged goods.

· Organize and store received items in designated warehouse locations.

· Assist with unloading trucks and moving goods using pallet jacks or forklifts.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of the receiving area.

· Collaborate with procurement, inventory, and shipping teams to ensure smooth operations.

· Follow all safety protocols and company procedures.

· Perform deliveries on an as needed basis.

Job Requirements:

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent required.

· 1–2 years of experience in a warehouse or receiving role preferred.

· Experience with inventory systems and barcode scanners is a plus.

Skills & Abilities:

· Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

· Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 50 lbs.)

· Intermediate computer skills (email, inventory software, spreadsheets).

· Proficient in Microsoft Suite

· Good communication and teamwork skills.

· Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

· Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred.

Certifications (Preferred but not required):

· Class A or B Driver’s License

· Forklift Certification

Work Environment:

· Warehouse setting with exposure to varying temperatures.

· Requires standing, walking, lifting, and bending for extended periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $24.00 per hour
