Overview
The Public Area Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of public spaces within the facility. This position requires a detail-oriented individual who is committed to providing a welcoming environment for guests and staff. The ideal candidate will have experience in custodial or commercial cleaning, with a strong focus on maintaining high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.

Responsibilities

Clean and maintain all public areas, including lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and outdoor spaces.
Perform custodial tasks such as dusting, sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and buffing floors.
Ensure that all cleaning supplies and equipment are properly maintained and stored.
Conduct regular inspections of public areas to identify cleaning needs and report any maintenance issues.
Assist with industrial cleaning tasks as needed to ensure the facility meets health and safety standards.
Collaborate with other team members to ensure efficient operations and exceptional service delivery.
Follow all safety protocols and procedures while performing cleaning duties.

Skills

Proven experience in custodial or commercial cleaning environments.
Strong knowledge of floor care techniques, including buffing and maintenance.
Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks effectively.
Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining cleanliness standards.
Good organizational skills and the ability to manage time efficiently.
