We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Retail Sales Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be the face of our store, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a positive shopping experience for all customers. You will assist with product demonstrations, merchandising, and maintaining store organization while effectively handling transactions at the point of sale (POS). Responsibilities

Provide outstanding customer service by greeting customers and assisting them with their shopping needs.
Operate the POS system efficiently for processing sales transactions, returns, and exchanges.
Engage in upselling techniques to enhance the customer experience and increase sales.
Conduct product demonstrations to educate customers about features and benefits.
Maintain store appearance through effective merchandising and stocking of products.
Ensure that all products are accurately priced and displayed according to company standards.
Handle cash transactions responsibly while adhering to cash handling procedures.
Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting discrepancies.
Maintain cleanliness and organization throughout the store to create an inviting atmosphere.
Communicate effectively with team members and management to ensure smooth operations.

Requirements

Previous experience in retail sales or customer service is preferred.
Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
Basic math skills for handling transactions and performing retail math calculations.
Experience with POS systems is highly desirable.
Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also taking initiative when needed.
Supervising experience is a plus for potential leadership opportunities.
Familiarity with grocery store operations is advantageous but not required.
