We are seeking a passionate and energetic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our customers while preparing high-quality beverages and providing exceptional customer service. *Responsibilities*

- Prepare and serve a variety of coffee and tea beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.

- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workspace, including equipment and utensils.

- Engage with customers in a friendly manner, taking their orders accurately and efficiently.

- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system for processing payments.

- Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting shortages.

- Provide recommendations based on customer tastes and preferences to enhance their experience.

- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the food industry.

- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.

*Skills*

- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

- Proficiency in basic math skills for handling cash transactions and retail math calculations.

- Time management abilities to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods.

- Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques, including espresso extraction and milk frothing.

- Familiarity with the POS system is a plus but not required; training will be provided.

- Previous experience in the food industry or retail environment is preferred but not mandatory.

- A positive attitude, willingness to help others, and ability to work as part of a team are essential traits for success in this role.
