Job Description:

As a Bookkeeper with Ultra Cryo & Recovery, you will play a key role in supporting our daily operations. You will oversee our financial data and compliance by maintaining accurate general ledger records, accounts payable and receivable, payroll, budgeting, daily financial entry and reconciliations, as well as performing various analytical responsibilities.

This is a part-time, 1099 position, working 20-35 hrs per week in a remote environment.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:

Develop and edit financial statements, organize company bookkeeping processes, evaluate and track financial budgets and analyses on a daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual basis, as required.
Prepare payroll.
Reconcile bank statements and monitor financial transactions.
Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements consolidated and for each location, highlighting any areas of concern or opportunities for improvement.
Support budgeting and forecasting processes by providing detailed, up-to-date financial data.
Perform all AR & AP duties and reconcile records including bank accounts in a timely manner.
Ability to work with consultants to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local financial and legal requirements, including timely tax payments.
Provide administrative support to the operational and executive staff as needed.
Perform any additional duties required to support the operational, executive, and other staff to ensure company success.
Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive financial information with integrity.
Stay up to date with relevant accounting principles and regulations.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Skills:

Must have working knowledge of Accrual Accounting. (REQUIRED)
Experience Processing Weekly payroll and commissions. (REQUIRED)
Proficiency in QuickBooks Online, and Microsoft programs including but not limited to, Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook. (REQUIRED)
Ability To meet performance KPIs and timelines. (REQUIRED)
4 or more years of experience working in a professional financial position with an established company preferred.
Bachelor's degree in finance or equivalent working experience preferred.
Excellent financial skills are a must, along with a strong work ethic.
Strong diligence, self-motivation, follow-up, and a desire to help grow the business.
Excellent time management skills, organizational skills, oral and written communications skills, and the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Ability to produce and analyze financial statements including a balance sheet, profit & loss statement, and a cash flow statement.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
Track/manage financial data and focus on creating and maintaining records.
Ability to explain financial information clearly
