Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Groundskeeper to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining the beauty and functionality of our outdoor spaces. This role requires a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a passion for landscape maintenance. The Groundskeeper will play a vital role in ensuring that our grounds are well-kept, safe, and inviting for all visitors.

Duties

Perform regular lawn care activities including mowing, edging, and fertilizing to maintain healthy grass.
Conduct landscape maintenance tasks such as planting, pruning, and mulching to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the grounds.
Operate and maintain hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
Irrigate gardens and landscaped areas to ensure proper hydration for plants.
Clear debris from walkways, gardens, and other outdoor areas to maintain cleanliness.
Monitor plant health and report any issues such as pests or diseases to management.
Assist with seasonal preparations including snow removal in winter months if applicable.
Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently while adhering to safety protocols.

Requirements

Previous experience in groundskeeping or landscape maintenance is preferred but not required.
Knowledge of lawn care techniques and landscape design principles is a plus.
Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely.
Strong physical stamina and ability to perform manual labor for extended periods.
Attention to detail with a commitment to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and aesthetics.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
A valid driver’s license may be required for transportation between job sites.
