Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Accounting Clerk to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, processing transactions, and supporting various accounting functions. This role requires strong data entry skills, proficiency in financial software, and a solid understanding of accounting principles.
Responsibilities
Perform accurate data entry to ensure precise recording and reporting.
Organize and maintain file folders, ensuring proper documentation storage.
Handle payroll processing (ADP).
Run reports and communicate with the Accounting Staff to deliver critical information.
Reconcile and enter daily entries with attention to detail.
Assist with accounts receivable/payable, journal entries, inventory management, and account reconciliations.
Provide support in various administrative tasks as directed by management.
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
Qualifications
Minimum of 5 years of accounting experience.
Associate degree in Business or a related field is a plus.
Proficiency in Excel and QuickBooks.
Experience with payroll systems (e.g., ADP).
Strong organizational skills and the ability to work independently.
Exceptional attention to detail.
Pass a background check.
