About the role
This role is about doing things right. Scratch-made. Thoughtful prep. Clean technique. Simple flavors that land. We’re looking for someone who knows their way around doughs, breads, classic pastry work, and a good cookie. Someone who understands timing and consistency and who can show up early, work clean, and take pride in what goes in their case.
This is a lead role with the space to own your station. You’ll be responsible for keeping the pastry offerings fresh, organized, and aligned with the larger vibe of the Market and Grassy as a whole. There’s room for creativity, and structure with follow-through comes first.
What You’ll Do
- Handle daily pastry and baked goods production from prep to finish
- Maintain a tight, consistent offering of pastries, breads, and rotating sweets
- Plan production and stay ahead of ordering and inventory
- Keep your station organized, labeled, and up to code
- Collaborate with the culinary and operations teams as needed
- Bring a steady, respectful presence to the kitchen
What We’re Looking For
- Strong pastry and baking experience
- Ability to manage production solo in the mornings
- Clean, consistent, and methodical approach to prep
- Comfortable working from established recipes while also adding your own ideas
- Great communication and timing
- Local to the Keys or open to relocating
