Position Overview:
Largo Resort is seeking a reliable, skilled, and hands-on Maintenance Technician to help keep our property in pristine condition. The ideal candidate is proactive, takes pride in their work, and enjoys working in a serene, outdoor setting surrounded by nature.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct daily inspections of resort property to identify maintenance or safety needs.
- Perform basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry, and painting repairs as needed.
- Maintain landscaping and outdoor areas — mowing, trimming, watering, and cleaning walkways.
- Inspect and maintain pool, deck, and beach areas for safety and cleanliness.
- Replace light bulbs, filters, and fixtures; ensure systems operate efficiently.
- Support resort upkeep through general repairs, patching, and preventive maintenance.
- Maintain tools and equipment in safe, working condition.
- Assist with event setup and teardown as needed.
- Respond promptly to guest or management requests and document all work performed.
- Follow all safety protocols and use protective gear as required.
Qualifications:
- Prior experience in facility or property maintenance preferred (hospitality experience a plus).
- Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical systems.
- Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Reliable, detail-oriented, and self-motivated with strong communication skills.
- Flexible schedule, including weekends or evenings when needed.
Compensation:
- Competitive pay range: $40,000–$50,000 annually, based on experience.
