The Reservation Counter Attendant is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to guests by managing reservations, answering inquiries, processing payments, and ensuring a smooth booking experience for all park activities. This position serves as the first point of contact for guests, both in person and over the phone, assisting with online bookings, directions, and general park information.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with reservation inquiries for accommodations, transportation, and local attractions
- Manage reservation systems accurately, including booking, modifying, and canceling reservations in a timely manner
- Provide expert advice on travel planning, hotel options, and local amenities to meet guest preferences
- Coordinate with hotel staff and service providers to ensure reservation details are confirmed and special requests are accommodated
- Handle customer concerns or questions professionally, offering solutions that enhance guest experience
- Maintain organized records of all reservations and related correspondence for easy access and reporting
- Promote additional services such as tours or upgrades to maximize guest satisfaction and revenue opportunities
Experience
- Proven experience in sales or customer service within the hospitality or travel industry
- Familiarity with reservation management software or booking systems is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of local travel destinations, hotels, and transportation options
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly, energetic approach to engaging guests
- Ability to handle multiple reservations simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
- Previous experience in hotel operations or hospitality environments is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to resolve issues quickly and efficiently in a fast-paced setting

Physical Requirements
- Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods throughout the workday.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 pounds occasionally.
- Frequent reaching, bending, and light physical activity required.
- Must be comfortable working indoors and outdoors in variable weather conditions (heat, humidity, rain).
- Ability to use a computer, telephone, and POS system for prolonged periods.
