Adults-Only Luxury Waterfront Property – Florida Keys
Position Overview
We are seeking a passionate, creative, and hospitality-driven Head Bartender to lead and develop the bar program for an exclusive adults-only waterfront property in the Florida Keys. This role is ideal for someone who understands luxury lifestyle hospitality, elevated yet approachable service, and the art of creating memorable guest experiences through cocktails, ambiance, and storytelling.
The Head Bartender will be responsible for designing and executing a distinctive beverage program that reflects the relaxed sophistication, tropical elegance, and experiential nature of the property. This individual will lead day-to-day bar operations while mentoring the team, maintaining high service standards, and creating a bar experience guests specifically return for.
Key ResponsibilitiesBeverage Program Development
- Create and maintain a signature cocktail program inspired by the Florida Keys, coastal living, seasonal ingredients, and luxury travel experiences
- Develop cocktail menus, specialty drinks, zero-proof offerings, wine selections, and curated spirits programs
- Partner with leadership to ensure the beverage program aligns with the property’s concept, brand identity, and guest demographic
- Introduce seasonal menu updates and unique activations to enhance guest engagement and revenue opportunities
- Establish standardized recipes, presentation guidelines, and quality controls to ensure consistency
Leadership & Team Development
- Lead, train, coach, and inspire bartenders and bar support staff
- Create a positive, professional, and guest-focused culture behind the bar
- Conduct ongoing training on cocktails, spirits knowledge, wine, service standards, upselling, and guest interaction
- Assist with scheduling, labor management, and maintaining operational efficiency
- Hold the team accountable for cleanliness, organization, professionalism, and luxury service standards
Guest Experience
- Deliver exceptional, personalized service while building meaningful guest connections
- Curate a warm, sophisticated, and energetic bar atmosphere that reflects the property’s adults-only luxury experience
- Engage with guests confidently and professionally while anticipating needs and creating memorable moments
- Collaborate with culinary and events teams on private dinners, special activations, tastings, and experiences
Operations & Financial Responsibilities
- Manage bar inventory, ordering, requisitions, and vendor relationships
- Monitor beverage cost, pour cost, waste, and overall profitability of the beverage program
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, sanitation, and alcohol service regulations
- Maintain proper organization and upkeep of all bar areas, tools, and equipment
- Support leadership in achieving financial goals while maintaining elevated service standards
Qualifications
- Minimum 3–5 years of bartending experience in luxury hospitality, boutique hotels, fine dining, or high-end cocktail bars
- Previous leadership or bar program development experience preferred
- Strong knowledge of craft cocktails, spirits, wine, and luxury service standards
- Passion for hospitality, storytelling, and creating elevated guest experiences
- Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-touch hospitality environment
- Flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and holidays

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
