Job Description:
Captains ensure that each individual trip meets safety and quality standards required by USCG and Honest Eco. Captains oversee and ensure that their crew is operating safely and to Honest Eco standards of hospitality and education, and that their duties are being carried out. Captains are the trip and boat managers.
Honest Eco Captains are responsible for following preventative maintenance requirements, safety requirements and verification, and minor repairs and maintenance that is performed on an as needed basis.

Requirements:
- USCG Masters License with Aux Sail 25ton +
- Member of or ability to enter into a maritime random drug testing consortium
- CPR first Aid
Valued Skills or Experiences:
- Local knowledge
- Formal Science background
- Experience guiding in depth Nature Experiences
- Mechanical/ Machinery Aptitude
- Travel
