With many best-selling titles on Amazon in a wide range of subjects, we are expanding the management of our presence on Amazon Vendor Central in seeking a talented individual to optimize that Amazon business using the growing number of tools inside and outside of Vendor Central.
Position Overview:
As our Amazon Vendor Central Specialist, you will be instrumental in managing and enhancing our products presence and sales on the Amazon marketplace. Along with Vendor Central’s built-in tools you will use tools like Eloquence on Alert and product metadata to streamline operations, increase visibility, and drive sales. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work at the intersection of technology, e-commerce, and publishing.
Responsibilities:
- Manage aspects of our presence on Amazon Vendor Central, including product listings, inventory management, pricing strategies, and promotional campaigns.
- Collaborate with product development utilizing ONIX feed metadata to ensure accurate and up-to-date product information across multiple channels.
- Monitor product page assets and attributes.
- Navigate the resolution of product and brand issues with direct communication to Amazon through Vendor Central case hub.
- Analyze sales performance, and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and optimization.
- Analyze customer feedback through reviews for data that would enhance our product offerings and the quality of individual products.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, sales, and product development, to align Amazon strategies with overall business objectives.
- Implement Eloquence on Alert to monitor competitor activity, pricing changes, and market dynamics, providing actionable insights to drive decision-making.
- Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging technologies, and platform updates to continuously improve our Amazon strategy.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or related field.
- Proven experience working with Amazon Vendor Central, with a deep understanding of its functionalities and requirements.
- Knowledge of ONIX metadata in the book industry.
- Familiarity with Eloquence on Alert for competitive intelligence and market monitoring.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Must be detail-oriented with a commitment to accuracy and quality.
- Self-motivated and proactive with a passion for innovation and continuous improvement.
