Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a variety of cranes, including RT and crawler cranes.
- Safely lift, move, and position heavy materials and equipment using the crane
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe work environment
- Inspect and maintain the crane equipment to ensure proper functioning
- Communicate with team members to coordinate lifts and ensure efficient operations
- Adhere to project deadlines and prioritize tasks accordingly
- Complete necessary paperwork and documentation related to crane operations
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience operating cranes in a construction or industrial setting
- Strong mechanical knowledge and understanding of crane operations
- Proficient in materials handling techniques and procedures
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and load charts
Requirements:
- Valid drivers license
- Travel
- NCCCO or equivalent ANSI/ASME accredited crane operator certification
- OSHA 10 Hour Construction Safety Training
- Must be fit for duty, able to navigate the jobsite and must comply with all company safety requirements and site-specific safety rules on the jobsite
- Ability to travel for work
Physical Requirements:
- Must be able to lift up to 40 pounds at times
- Excellent depth perception and reaction time
- Visual acuity to follow hand signals, maintain logs, as well as inspect and maintain machinery
- Must be able to access and navigate all areas of the construction site, in all types of weather
- Must be able to stand and sit for 10-12 hours
