Job Description:
Our company is seeking an enthusiastic and skilled part time Office Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will not only perform the essential responsibilities of an Office Coordinator but also take on additional duties associated with Office Management.
Office Coordinator Responsibilities:
- Greet and assist patients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Schedule appointments efficiently and maintain appointment records.
- Handle patient documentation while strictly adhering to HIPAA protocols.
- Verify insurance information accurately.
- Facilitate patient follow-up and scheduling services.
- Collect payments and manage financial transactions.
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area.
- Respond to patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Contribute to a positive team environment by achieving relevant tasks.
- Proficiency in ChiroTouch and KAREO EHR systems is a plus.
- Bilingual skills in English and Spanish are required.
Office Manager Duties (in addition to the above responsibilities):
- Oversee the maintenance of patient accounts, including updating personal and financial information.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of medical, personal, and financial patient information.
- Collaborate with upper management to implement office policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and manage office resources efficiently.
- Handle inventory management and ordering of office supplies.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for office-related matters.
- Assist with employee onboarding and training when necessary.
- Manage day-to-day office tasks, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Play a pivotal role in maintaining a welcoming and organized office environment.
