Job Overview:
We seek a reliable and professional Security Guard to join our team. The ideal candidate must be fluent in English, possess exceptional communication skills, and hold a Class D Security license. As a Security Guard, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and employees. This full-time position offers flexibility with multiple shifts to accommodate different schedules.
Responsibilities:
- Patrol assigned areas on foot to ensure a visible security presence on the premises.
- Monitor and investigate any suspicious activities or persons on the property.
- Respond promptly to security alarms and calls for assistance.
- Verify the identity of individuals entering the premises to control access.
- Work closely with the gatehouse officer to ensure a secure environment across the property.
- Assist residents and visitors with security-related inquiries and address their concerns.
- Write detailed daily and incident reports documenting any security-related incidents.
- Coordinate with law enforcement agencies when necessary.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting visitors and addressing their inquiries.
- Control and monitor access through the main entry gate of the condominium.
- Verify the credentials of incoming vehicles and visitors before granting entry.
- Communicate effectively with residents, guests, and service personnel to ensure smooth entry procedures.
- Collaborate with the on-foot rover to effectively manage security operations.
- Offer directions and respond to inquiries from residents and visitors as required.
- Enforce parking regulations and assist in managing vehicle traffic within the premises.
- Maintain the gatehouse area clean, organized, and always presentable.
Qualifications:
- Must have a valid Class D Security License.
- Must speak, write, and read fluently in English.
- Must be able to work weekends.
- Ability to respond quickly and effectively in emergency situations.
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
