The Case Manager Supervisor will be responsible to receive case manager’s documentation on a weekly basis in order to review, approve and process services for billing and payment to rendering provider. Each Targeted Case Manager will be assigned specific clients at time of intake and be required to program and monitor such things as basic needs, academic issues, court appearances, doctor appointments, clinical sessions, and discharge referrals. The Lead Case Manager will ensure that all assigned Targeted Case Managers are meeting productivity.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Review progress notes from case managers assigned to lead case manager on a daily basis.
- Monitor and review the completion of all CM assessments and paperwork such as service plans, service plan reviews, case notes at the time requested in the Medicaid manual.
- Complete Employee Performance Report on a weekly basis and submit to immediate supervisor.
- Provides training, consultation, and problem-solving assistance to Case Managers.
- Consults with Case Managers on difficult cases and provides a second opinion, expertise and problem-solving assistance.
- Must work alongside CM and Access Specialist to facilitate benefit applications.
- Must monitor CM productivity on a weekly basis to ensure CM is meeting productivity.
- Perform other related duties as assigned by Case Manager Supervisor
Education and/or Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in psychology, social work, mental health or related field.
- Must be a Certified Behavioral Health Case Manager
- Must have supervisory experience.
