Job Description:
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pool and Jacuzzi Maintenance Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and proper operation of our pool and jacuzzi facilities. This role involves regular maintenance task, including taking water samples, adjusting chemical feeders and performing routine inspections and repairs.
Responsibilities:
1. Water Quality Management
- Collect and analyze water samples from the pool and jacuzzi to ensure compliance with safety and health standards.
- Adjust chemical levels using chemical feeders and manual dosing to maintain proper alkalinity, pH, chlorine and other essential water balance parameters.
2. Maintenance and Repair
- Perform routine cleaning tasks, such as skimming vacuuming and brushing pool and jacuzzi surfaces.
- Inspect and maintain pool and jacuzzi equipment, including pumps, filters, heaters, and chemical feeders.
- Identify and troubleshoot issues with pool and jacuzzi systems, performing necessary repairs or coordinating with the head of maintenance and external contractors for complex repairs.
3. Safety and Compliance
- Ensure that all safety protocols and procedures are followed, including the proper storage and handling of chemicals.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify potential hazards and ensure compliance with local health and safety regulations.
- Respond promptly to any safety concerns or incidents.
4. Customer Service:
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing any questions or concerns from our guest.
- Educate users on proper pool and jacuzzi etiquette and safety practices.
5. Documentation and reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of water testing results, chemical adjustments, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare and submit regular reports on pool and jacuzzi conditions and maintenance needs.
