Position Summary:
Dave’s Pest Control is seeking a dynamic and experienced Director of Operations to lead our team and ensure the highest levels of customer satisfaction and employee engagement. The Director of Operations will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our four branches (and more branches as we expand) and call center, ensuring that our technicians and staff deliver excellent service, and that all staff are trained and operating safely. This role involves significant travel, with up to two weeks per month spent on the road visiting various branches.
Key Responsibilities:
Leadership & Management:
- Oversee 40 field technicians and tech managers, ensuring they provide top-tier pest control services.
- Supervise and support 20 customer service representatives and managers who handle customer calls and inbound sales.
- Develop leadership and management skills of managers, ensuring their teams perform effectively.
Operational Excellence:
- Ensure high customer retention through excellent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
- Work with HR to ensure proper staffing, onboarding, and training of new hires.
- Conduct weekly meetings with various leadership groups to review performance and address any issues.
Safety & Compliance:
- Ensure all technicians apply products safely and adhere to all safety protocols.
- Coordinate with the safety department to maintain a safe working environment.
Continuous Improvement:
- Using existing performance metrics and reporting to ensure continuous improvement in service delivery.
- Identify and address areas for operational improvements.
Travel Requirements:
- Travel up to two weeks per month to different branches to ensure consistent operations and support field team leaders.

Qualifications:
- Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in an operational leadership role within a route-based business servicing residential and commercial accounts.
- Leadership: Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage and develop multiple teams across various locations.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with experience in conducting effective meetings and presenting to diverse groups.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to use data to drive decisions and improvements.
- Travel: Willingness and ability to travel up to two weeks per month to different branch locations.

Pay: $80,000.00 - $150,000.00 per year
