We are a local family with a full schedule seeking a caregiver to help with our elderly family member.
We are seeking a caregiver to provide personal care and support to our elderly loved one who is in need assistance with activities of daily living. Candidate must be an expert communicator, able to engage in active listening as well as educate their on how and why they take the actions they take. Candidate should possess and demonstrate care and compassion. They must be empathetic and able to feel and understand their clients’ needs as well as compartmentalize their own needs. This is an all-encompassing job that can cover everything from medical needs to grocery shopping and has a broad range of duties that must be fulfilled. Experience with household tasks like cooking and cleaning is preferred. Considerable help is required with mobility situations.
Previous experience as a Personal Care Assistant, Family Caregiver, or Personal Caregiver is highly preferred. Criminal background and MVR checks are required. Candidates shall have relative work experience or personal background and possess CPR certifications and first aid certifications.
