JOB SUMMARY:
Historic Key West Vacation Rentals seeks a friendly, service-oriented Front Desk/ Inspector team member to join our busy office. In this position, you greet guests, complete check-ins and check-outs, answer calls, schedule and assist with inspections after a check-out or once unit is cleaned, utilize business software systems to perform duties, and address guests’ questions and concerns. Outstanding interpersonal communication skills and attention to detail are necessary for success in this position.
Front Desk/ Rooms Inspection Agent Job Duties and Responsibilities
· Greet guests with a welcoming smile and friendly demeanor
· Perform all guest check-in and check-out procedures
· Communicate with guest via phone/text/email.
· Maintain a clean and tidy workspace at all times
· Inform guests of HKWVR property amenities and offerings
· Communicate effectively with all departments and vendors as necessary
· Resolve customer complaints and problems calmly and effectively
· Notify management of any serious issues that you cannot resolve
· Perform home inspections according to protocol during check-out or once the unit is cleaned
. Report repairs when needed during unit inspection.
· Store and retrieve luggage and valuables as needed according to protocol
. Ensure proper communication data entry and all information is updated in the internal software
. Valid drivers license
· Maintain a friendly, personable disposition
· Perform various clerical tasks as needed
Front Desk Agent/ Rooms Inspection Agent Requirements and Qualifications
· High school diploma or GED equivalent preferred
· Previous experience in customer service and/or hospitality industry preferred
· Computer proficiency using Microsoft applications
· Experience using Escapia and Breezeway software a plus but not required
· Excellent customer service skills
· Ability to maintain calm, polite, and patient in stressful situations
· Organized and detail-oriented
. Must be able to See, Stand, and Walk a minimum of 8 hours,
. Lift (up to 60 lbs),
. Carry, Bend, Reach, Twist,
. Withstand high temperatures/humidity conditions.
. Inspections: Field Environment 90%. Indoors 10%.
. Must be able to work flexible days and hours, including weekends and holidays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour
