Shipping and Receiving Clerk
Job Overview:**
We are seeking a detail-oriented Shipping and Receiving Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing incoming and outgoing shipments at our Aircraft Component Shop. As a vital part of our logistics team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the efficient flow of parts through our facility.
Responsibilities:
- Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against shipping documents, and ensure accuracy in quantities.
-Preparing incoming paperwork and travelers for all parts.
- Organize and maintain inventory in designated storage areas.
- Prepare outgoing shipments with all necessary documents including export documents (which will be prepared by a logistics firm).
- Collaborate with team members to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines efficiently.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment to ensure safety and efficiency.
**Skills:**
- Prior experience working in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to accurately track inventory.
- Familiarity with shipping processes is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- Experience with procedures is advantageous.

This job is for an FAA Component Repair shop and requires pre-employment and random drug and alcohol testing pursuant to Department of Transporation drug testing requirements.

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
