We are seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team here at the Grassy Key Marina.

Job Description:

The Marina Forklift Operator is responsible for safely lifting, launching, and storing boats using a large marina forklift. This role also involves assisting with general marina operations, ensuring a clean and safe work environment, and delivering outstanding service to our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

Operate marina forklifts to lift, move, and store boats safely.
Launch and retrieve boats from the water as requested by customers.
Perform daily equipment checks and basic maintenance on forklifts.
Ensure boats are handled with care to prevent damage.
Assist with dock operations, boat ramp activity, and general marina upkeep.
Provide excellent customer service and communicate effectively with boat owners and staff.
Follow all safety procedures and marina policies.

Qualifications:

Prior forklift operating experience required; marina forklift experience preferred)
Knowledge of boating and marina operations.
Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
Strong attention to detail and safety awareness.
Reliable, punctual, and able to work weekends

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 40 per week

Work Location: In person
