Most Common Assignments

· Court Coverage – Appear at traffic‑court arraignments, pre‑trial conferences, bench or jury trials, DMV administrative hearings, and plea/sentencing proceedings on behalf of retaining counsel.

· Drafting – Prepare motions to dismiss or suppress, discovery requests & responses, traffic‑infraction affidavits, stipulated orders, and settlement agreements.

· Research – Deliver concise legal memoranda on statutory defenses (e.g., speed‑measuring device challenges), case assessments, and advisory opinions on license suspension or reinstatement issues.

Required Qualifications

· Juris Doctor (J.D.) and active, good‑standing license with the Florida State Bar.

· 3+ years of dedicated traffic‑law or criminal‑traffic experience, including appearances in county or municipal traffic courts and/or DMV hearings.

· Proven ability to manage multiple matters, meet strict deadlines, and work autonomously with minimal oversight.

· Proficiency with Microsoft 365, Zoom/Teams/Webex, and major research platforms (Westlaw, Lexis, or Fastcase).
