Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and friendly Hotel Front Desk Clerk to join our hospitality team in the beautiful Florida Keys. The ideal candidate will be the first point of contact for our guests, providing exceptional customer service and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a passion for guest relations in a hotel environment.

Responsibilities

Greet guests upon arrival with a warm and friendly demeanor.
Manage the check-in and check-out process efficiently, ensuring accuracy in guest information.
Handle reservations and provide information about hotel services and amenities.
Address guest inquiries, concerns, and requests in a timely manner to ensure satisfaction.
Maintain an organized front desk area and manage phone systems effectively.
Collaborate with housekeeping and maintenance teams to ensure guest rooms are ready for occupancy.
Process payments and maintain accurate records of transactions.
Assist with special requests or arrangements for guests, including transportation or event bookings.
Uphold hotel policies and procedures while maintaining a professional appearance.

Requirements

Previous experience in front desk operations or customer service within the hospitality industry is preferred.
Strong phone etiquette skills with the ability to handle multiple calls professionally.
Knowledge of hospitality management principles is an advantage.
Proficient in the English language (spoken and written).
Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on providing outstanding guest experiences.
Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.
Familiarity with hotel management software is a plus but not required; training will be provided.
A positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
