Overview
We are seeking an experienced Matre d' for a new Steakhouse in Islamorada

Greet guests warmly upon arrival and guide them to their tables.
Manage reservations and waitlists effectively using Aloha POS or similar systems.
Communicate with guests regarding wait times and provide updates as necessary.
Assist in maintaining cleanliness and organization of the front-of-house area.
Collaborate with servers and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Handle guest inquiries, complaints, and feedback with professionalism and courtesy.
Support the restaurant's overall guest relations efforts to enhance customer satisfaction.
This is considered a Supervisor position, experience is required.
This position is the face of the place, and as such will function as; Concierge, Ambassador, Host, Supervisor and more.

Skills

Strong hospitality skills with a passion for providing excellent customer service.
Effective communication skills, both verbal and non-verbal, to interact with guests and team members.
Experience with Opentable reservation management.
Previous experience in food service or hotel environments is required.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
Excellent phone etiquette for handling reservations and guest inquiries over the phone.
A friendly demeanor that contributes positively to guest relations and overall restaurant ambiance.
Must have experience in Fine Dining restaurant as an FOH Manager, Lead Host, or Matre d.
