Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Classroom Teacher to join our educational team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating a nurturing and stimulating learning environment for students, fostering their academic and personal growth. This role requires a strong understanding of childhood development, effective behavior management techniques, and the ability to adapt teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students, including those in special education.

Duties

Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with curriculum standards.
Assess and evaluate student progress through standardized testing and other assessment tools.
Provide individualized support to students, including those with special educational needs.
Foster a positive classroom environment that encourages student participation and collaboration.
Mentor students in their academic pursuits and personal development.
Maintain clear communication with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
Conduct regular proofreading of instructional materials to ensure clarity and accuracy.
Collaborate with other educators to share best practices and improve instructional strategies.

Requirements

Strong knowledge of childhood development principles and early childhood education practices.
Experience in behavior management strategies to support diverse learners.
Familiarity with standardized testing processes and assessment techniques.
Ability to write clear, concise reports and documentation related to student performance.
Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with students, parents, and colleagues.

Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No more than 70 per week
