Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Server to join our dynamic team. As a Server, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional guest experiences in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for taking orders, serving food and beverages, and ensuring that guests have a memorable dining experience. Your ability to connect with guests and provide outstanding customer service will contribute significantly to our establishment's success.

Responsibilities

Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner.
Take accurate food and beverage orders and relay them to the kitchen staff.
Serve food and drinks promptly, ensuring all orders are correct and meet quality standards.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area, including bussing tables and sanitizing surfaces.
Handle cash register transactions accurately, processing payments and providing change as needed.
Address guest inquiries or concerns with professionalism, ensuring guest satisfaction throughout their visit.
Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and special requests.
Promote menu items, specials, and upsell when appropriate to enhance guest experience.
Assist in maintaining inventory levels of supplies needed for service.

Skills

Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest relations.
Experience in food service or culinary environments is preferred.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting, particularly during peak hours such as nightlife events or busy dining times.
Knowledge of sanitation practices to ensure a clean dining environment.
Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with guests and team members.
Sales skills to promote menu items effectively while enhancing the overall guest experience.
Familiarity with cash register operations is an asset but not required; training will be provided.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to occasionally, regularly, frequently move objects (lift, push, pull, balance, carry) up to 10 pounds.
Ability to tolerate exposure to heat, cold, chemicals, and loud/noisy environment.
