Full Job Description

SaltPonds Condo Association is seeking a full-time Maintenance Technician to perform a range of general maintenance tasks. This role requires a self-starter capable of working independently and efficiently to complete daily tasks while adapting to changing maintenance priorities. Flexibility and a high level of communication are essential to this position.

What You’ll Do

Pool Maintenance
Replace interior & exterior light bulbs, test and repair light fixtures, outlets, and other electrical fixtures.
Minor electrical repairs
Troubleshoot leaks
Minor plumbing repairs
Replace and repair fixtures, door locks, and hardware
Painting
minor wall and concrete repairs
pressure washing and trash removal as needed

Other Responsibilities

Adapt to new tasks as they arise, ensuring the property is well maintained.
Maintains standards for cleanliness, safety, and quality.

Requirements

· Certified Pool Operator

Proven experience in property maintenance, with a focus on self-management and task prioritization.
Reliable transportation to and from work sites.
A smart device capable of being used to troubleshoot issues and for communication
Strong troubleshooting skills for maintenance issues.
Experience with basic electrical diagnostics, plumbing projects, and woodworking.
Basic computer skills and comfort with technology.
Able to provide excellent customer service when interacting with owners and residents.
Schedule flexibility, including availability for occasional after-hours calls.
Must be reliable and dependable to work as scheduled.
Bilingual a plus (English-Spanish).

Physical Demands

Must be able to push, pull, carry, and lift up to fifty (50) pounds with or without accommodation.
Must be able to bend, stoop, twist, and reach above shoulders and head.
Must be able to climb and work from a ladder.
Must be able to stand and/or walk continuously throughout shift.
Must be able to work with medium/heavy chemicals.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week

Property maintenance: 2 years (Required)
