Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista to join our team in creating exceptional coffee experiences for our customers. As a Barista, you will be responsible for preparing and serving a variety of coffee beverages, maintaining a clean and inviting café environment, and providing outstanding customer service. Responsibilities

Prepare and serve high-quality coffee drinks, teas, and other beverages according to established recipes and customer preferences.
Operate the café's POS system, including cash handling and processing transactions accurately.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the café area, including equipment, utensils, and seating areas.
Ensure compliance with food safety and handling standards to provide safe products to customers.
Engage with customers to provide excellent service, answer questions about menu items, and make recommendations based on their preferences.
Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies as needed and reporting any shortages or issues to management.
Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy periods while maintaining a positive work environment.

Experience

Previous experience in a café or food industry setting is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
Familiarity with Square or similar cash handling systems is a plus.
Knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and food safety practices is advantageous.
Strong time management skills to efficiently handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clientele.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.15 - $22.00 per hour
