Key Largo Wastewater Treatment District is seeking a Plant Operator Trainee.

Position Description:
Position Title: WWTP Operator Trainee

The position will learn how to monitor and operate process control equipment of our Wastewater Treatment Plant. EOE

Base Salary Range: $40,000 ‐ $45,000; Paid weekly on Fridays, and subject to standard withholding as provided for by law.
Position Status: Full‐time/Hourly Non‐Exempt
Hours of Operation: 7:00am – 3:30pm Monday thru Friday.
Annual 2% longevity increase with successful review.
Promotion opportunities will be available.

Must have a valid driver's license, high school diploma or equivalent and preferably live within our service area (mm106 - mm91 Key Largo/Tavernier).
