Island Groove Dance Studio is looking for a warm, confident Musical Theater teacher to lead our youth program in the Florida Keys. This role is perfect for someone who loves working with kids, can keep class structured and fun, and knows how to build both performance skills and confidence over time.

What you will teach

Musical theater classes for ages 6 & up
A mix of acting, stage presence, character work, movement, and singing support.
Rehearsal and show prep leading up to our big season performance opportunities

Our studio is family focused, positive, and performance driven. Students work toward stage ready routines, scenes, and group numbers with clear expectations and lots of encouragement. We care about growth, teamwork, and creating a place where kids feel proud of themselves

We ask for consistency and professionalism so families get a great experience every week

We need someone who

- Has experience in musical theater, acting, vocal performance, dance, or directing (teaching experience is a plus)

- Can manage a classroom confidently with kind, clear boundaries

- Is reliable, organized, and communicates well with parents and our studio team

- Enjoys collaborating with other teachers for recital and show planning

- Is comfortable with occasional extra rehearsals during performance season

Weekly classes

Additional rehearsals closer to performances, as needed
