About
I am writing to express my interest in a position. I recently concluded a career break that began in 2022, professional career began in 1995 with the US Army, and am now eager to re-engage my diverse skill set in a dynamic operational environment. With flexibility regarding location and salary, I am confident I can be an immediate and valuable asset to your team.
My background spans the high-definition cinema technology, extensive electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and networking experience. This unique blend of technical proficiency, leadership skills, and hands-on operational experience is highly transferable to managing of a marina.
In my roles I managed teams and operational workflow. My previous experience as a farmhand honed my adaptability and ability to manage various operational needs.
I developed significant expertise in the high-definition cinema industry. As a Field Sales Engineer/Global Master Trainer at Barco Media & Entertainment and a Project Supervisor at Christie Digital Systems, I managed project installations, led remote technical crews while handling customer interfacing and training/repair procedures for complex movie theater systems worldwide.
My technical foundation was built by and carried over from an Honorable Discharge from the US Army as a Strategic Systems Repair Technician. I further applied these skills at LUCENT Technologies and AT&T, where I designed and installed high-voltage battery backup plants for phone systems across the country.
This comprehensive technical and operational background has equipped me with strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to adapt quickly to new challenges. I am eager to leverage these skills to contribute to your companies’ success.
Thank you for considering my application. I look forward to the possibility of discussing how my experience can meet the needs of your organization.
My wife and I reside full time on our vintage 1968 Chris Craft Roamer, in restoration, and as I am new to the boating industry and cruising we are looking to be employed where we dock, if possible, providing the ability to be onsite 24/7. We keep a clean and well maintained vessel.
