Grassy Flats Resort and Beach Club is a local, family-owned boutique resort featuring 38 rooms, a world-class watersports school, a private beach club, and various bars and restaurants on site. We are dedicated to sustainable hospitality, action watersports, and providing guests with personalized services and memorable experiences.

Our sister property, the Lagoon on Grassy Key, is our adventure park and botanical beer garden located less than a mile away from the resort.

Your Role

As a receptionist, you are a crucial part of the overall guest experience at Grassy Flats. You are the guests’ first impression of the resort and will set the tone for their entire stay. You will be their point of contact and source of information during their stay, and their last goodbye upon departure. It is our goal to connect with our guests and create a unique, personalized experience for everyone that stays with us. A welcoming, friendly demeanor and an attention to detail are essential for this role.

Main responsibilities:

Check guests in and out
Answer phone calls and emails
Manage reservations made online (website, email, or OTA), by phone, or walk-in
Collect payments for reservations
Handle transactions for lobby retail store
Keep lobby and retail section organized and clean
Answer general questions about the resort, room types and amenities, watersports, restaurant, hours of operation, etc.
Provide other local recommendations for activities and restaurants
Manage communication with in-house guests

Experience with Cloudbeds PMS is a plus but can be trained. Previous hotel experience is a must.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
