Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dental Hygienist to join our dental practice. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, focusing on preventive oral health and education. This role requires a compassionate individual who is comfortable working with patients of all ages, including children, and is committed to maintaining a safe and sterile environment.

Duties

Perform thorough dental cleanings and periodontal treatments for patients of all ages.
Conduct patient assessments to evaluate oral health and identify potential issues.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and the importance of regular dental visits.
Utilize aseptic techniques to ensure infection control during all procedures.
Assist in the administration of local anesthesia as needed.
Maintain accurate patient records using Eaglesoft or similar dental software.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide comprehensive care, including referrals to specialists when necessary.
Stay updated on advancements in dental hygiene practices and technologies.
Comfortable seeing 6-8 patients per day.

Skills

Strong knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques.
Experience with patient assessment and medical imaging processes.
Familiarity with medical coding practices related to dental procedures.
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively educate patients.
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced dental office environment while maintaining attention to detail.
A passion for general dentistry and commitment to providing exceptional patient care.

Pay: $39.82 - $41.94 per hour
