Key Largo Fisheries is seeking an experienced and energetic Administrative Assistant to help with daily tasks and projects in the administrative office. The incumbent will provide assistance with correspondence, calendar coordination, meeting preparation, recordkeeping and management of special projects as needed. The candidate will also be responsible for maintaining updated permits and licenses, ensuring that the telephone is answered and routed properly, and may sometimes be called on to act as relief for other administrative positions on a needs basis.
The right candidate will possess strong organizational skills and an ability to multitask efficiently. The ideal candidate must be a team player, and have a good attitude. The Administrative Assistant needs to possess sound judgment and decision-making skills along with the ability to confidentially handle sensitive information. Must be proficient in Microsoft Outlook, Microsoft Office and Microsoft Excel.
Education/Training:
- Associates degree with concentration in business preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Experience/Knowledge/Abilities:
- Must possess strong administrative background.
- Three (3) to Five (5) plus years of related work experience.
- Excellent interpersonal, office management and communications skills.
- Self-starter with excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service and telephone skills.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
