Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled General Maintenance professional to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the upkeep and functionality of our facilities. This role requires a blend of technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and a proactive approach to maintenance tasks. The General Maintenance individual will work on various projects, including painting, equipment repairs, and facility enhancements, yard improvement and other task that will be assign in daily basis.
Duties
- Perform routine maintenance tasks including plumbing, electrical work, and HVAC repairs.
- Conduct residential painting to maintain aesthetic appeal and protect surfaces.
- Utilize tools such as an ohmmeter for electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting.
- Interpret schematics and blueprints to execute repairs and installations effectively.
- Lead small teams on maintenance projects when necessary, demonstrating strong leadership skills.
- Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS).
- Perform welding tasks as needed for structural repairs or modifications.
- Ensure all facilities are compliant with safety regulations and operational standards.
- Collaborate with other departments to address maintenance needs promptly.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or a similar role is preferred.
- Strong knowledge of residential painting techniques and materials.
- Familiarity with logic controllers and their applications in facility management is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret technical documents such as schematics and manuals.
- Excellent communication skills in English, both written and verbal.
- Demonstrated leadership capabilities to guide teams effectively during projects.
- Proficient in using various hand tools and power tools safely and efficiently.
- A proactive attitude towards problem-solving and maintaining high standards of work quality.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $19.00 - $20.00 per hour
Expected hours: 20 – 30 per week
