Job Title: Delivery Driver (Box Truck)
Location: Warehouse in Florida City – Deliveries range from Monroe to Broward County
Job Summary:
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Delivery Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have:
✔ A valid driver's license with a clean driving record
✔ Extensive experience driving a box truck
✔ A cellphone for communication and navigation
✔ The ability to lift, move, and assemble furniture
This role requires strong customer service skills and the ability to work well in a team. The successful candidate will ensure timely and safe deliveries, unload and assemble furniture, and handle additional tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Operate a box truck safely and efficiently.
- Deliver goods promptly and courteously to customers.
- Assemble and move furniture upon delivery.
- Secure and protect furniture during transit.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle.
- Uphold a professional appearance and demeanor.
- Follow all company policies and safety regulations.
- Communicate effectively with team members.
- Address any issues that may arise during deliveries.
Experience & Qualifications:
- At least 1 year of experience as a delivery driver or in a related field.
- Proven experience driving a box truck.
- Physical ability to lift and handle heavy furniture.
- Ability to pass a drug test
- Strong customer service skills and a commitment to professionalism.
- Experience with loading and unloading duties.
- Knowledge of commercial driving regulations and safety procedures.
- Experience with courier or delivery services is a plus!
