Job Overview
As a AAA Roadside Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional roadside assistance to our members. This position requires a strong mechanical aptitude and the ability to work independently in various environments. You will be responsible for assisting stranded motorists with vehicle issues, ensuring their safety and satisfaction while delivering top-notch service.
Responsibilities
- Respond promptly to roadside assistance calls and provide timely support to members in need.
- Perform basic automotive repairs such as jump-starting batteries, changing flat tires, and unlocking vehicles.
- Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to carry out repairs and maintenance tasks.
- Conduct vehicle inspections to assess issues and recommend appropriate solutions.
- Assist with heavy lifting when necessary, ensuring safe handling of equipment and materials.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the service vehicle.
- Document all services performed and maintain accurate records of assistance provided.
Experience
- Proven mechanical knowledge with experience in automotive repair or vehicle maintenance is preferred.
- Familiarity with auto body repair, auto restoration, and general automotive service is a plus.
- Ability to operate hand tools and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with heavy lifting as part of daily responsibilities.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure while maintaining a positive attitude.
