Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with children and individuals with developmental disabilities, including those on the autism spectrum. Your primary focus will be to implement behavior intervention plans based on Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles, assisting clients in achieving their goals and improving their quality of life. As an RBT, you will play a crucial role in supporting clients through various activities of daily living (ADLs) while maintaining a safe and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities
- Implement individualized behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA).
- Provide direct support to children and individuals with developmental disabilities, focusing on skill acquisition and behavior management.
- Assist clients with ADLs, promoting independence and self-care skills.
- Collect and record data on client progress, behaviors, and interventions as required for treatment plans.
- Teach social skills, communication techniques, and coping strategies to enhance client interactions.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations regarding patient confidentiality and medical documentation.
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in behavior management strategies across settings.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to stay informed about best practices in behavioral health.
Experience
- Previous experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities is preferred.
- Familiarity with Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) techniques and principles is highly desirable.
- Experience in special education or patient care settings is beneficial.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, medical records, care plans, and behavioral health practices is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team environment are essential.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $32.00 per hour
