Position Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Part-Time Payroll Clerk to join our administrative team. The ideal candidate will have experience processing payroll, maintaining employee records, and preparing required reports with accuracy and confidentiality.
Responsibilities:
- Verify and process employee hours and timecards
- Prepare and submit payroll accurately and on schedule
- Process and submit payroll taxes
- Maintain and update employee files and records
- Prepare and submit monthly, quarterly, and annual payroll reports
- Assist with certified payroll reporting (experience preferred)
- Support other administrative tasks as needed
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in payroll processing required
- Experience with certified payroll strongly preferred
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel required
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and meet deadlines
Schedule:
- Part-time, flexible schedule (approximately [insert hours, e.g., 15–20 hours per week])
- On-site position in Big Pine Key, FL
