Job Summary
Advanced Urgent Care is seeking Registered Nurses to join our Marathon office. Part-time.
- Candidates must have 1-2 years of ER or ICU experience.
- Must be able to work efficiently with a pleasant demeanor in a fast-paced environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assess, triage, and monitor patients presenting with urgent medical needs
- Obtain and document patient medical histories, vital signs, and chief complaints
- Administer medications, injections, IV therapy, and treatments as ordered
- Assist physicians, nurse practitioners, and physician assistants with exams and procedures
- Perform wound care, splinting, specimen collection, and point-of-care testing
- Educate patients and families regarding diagnoses, medications, discharge instructions, and follow-up care
- Maintain accurate and timely electronic medical records (EMR) documentation
- Recognize changes in patient condition and respond appropriately to emergencies
- Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to maintain efficient patient flow
- Maintain exam rooms, supplies, and equipment readiness
