Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Lead HVAC Installer to join our team! This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead installation projects, mentor junior technicians, and ensure the highest standards of quality and safety. As a key player in our service team, you will drive the successful installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems while fostering a collaborative and energetic work environment.
Duties
- Lead the installation of HVAC systems, including air conditioning units, boilers, and refrigeration equipment, ensuring adherence to schematics and design specifications
- Supervise and coordinate field service activities for HVAC/R projects, providing guidance to team members for efficient workflow
- Interpret technical schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans to execute installations accurately
- Perform equipment repair, maintenance, and troubleshooting on HVAC systems using tools such as ohmmeters and welding equipment
- Manage property maintenance tasks related to HVAC systems, including plumbing connections and refrigeration setups like ammonia refrigeration systems
- Ensure all installations comply with safety standards and building codes while maintaining a focus on quality control
- Mentor junior technicians on technical procedures such as appliance repair, mechanical knowledge applications, and proper use of diagnostic tools
Qualifications
- Proven experience in construction, HVAC installation, or service technician roles with leadership responsibilities
- Strong mechanical knowledge including HVAC/R systems, refrigeration (including ammonia refrigeration), boilers, and plumbing
- Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and HVAC design plans with precision
- Field service experience with appliance repair and property maintenance tasks
- Familiarity with electrical components and tools such as ohmmeters; welding skills are a plus
- Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record; experience operating drivers preferred
- Knowledge of safety protocols related to HVAC/R systems and equipment repair
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to lead a team effectively

Pay: $120,000.00 - $175,000.00 per year
