Position Summary:
The Market Development Representative is responsible for conducting research and generating qualified leads for our Bulk Sales Department. The key objective of this position is to provide relevant information on homeowners’ and condo associations, builders, developers and communities to our Sales Directors to drive sales efforts for large accounts.
This position is a critical member of the sales and marketing team and requires a self-starter with a can-do, results-driven attitude.
Responsibilities:
· Conduct research through various sources to uncover existing & new build neighborhoods, condos, and apartment complexes that meet sales targets
· Maintain overall health of the Salesforce CRM database including uploading, refreshing, and scrubbing data to ensure data integrity
· Conduct detailed market and competitive research to assist in identifying areas of sales opportunities
· Assist in developing sales strategies in tandem person will collaborate with marketing, the Account Executives, and the SDR team
· Actively participate in the innovation of new techniques for securing new accounts and offer insights about association board members, property manager, builder, and developer pain points
· Collect and analyze data on prospective customers, competitors, and marketing channels/sources
· Deploy and analyze data on community opportunity through surveys and consumer outreach channels
· Maintain strong relationships with sales and marketing team through clear communication and follow-up
· Maintain up-to-date and extensive knowledge on all Fibernow product offerings through participation in product demonstrations and internal meetings
· Stay current on industry trends and maintain extensive knowledge of competitor product offerings
· Achieve monthly and quarterly lead generation goals set by sales management
What You Bring to the Table:
· Three years of market development/research experience
· Proven track record of achieving and beating quotas/targets
· Knowledge of the bulk services or telecom market in Florida
· Excellent time management, goal setting, prospecting, and interpersonal skills
· Strong and effective communication skills both orally and written
General Qualifications/Education:
· Must be able to read, write and speak English, analyze, and interpret general technical procedures, or governmental regulations; ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals; ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the public.
· Bachelor’s degree (B.S.), preferably in Business and/or a minimum of three years of related experience.
