Responsibilities:
- Attend court hearings, depositions, and mediations.
- Prepare and draft legal documents, such as motions, briefs, discovery requests, and responses.
- Conduct legal research and deliver comprehensive legal advice.
- Communicate with clients, opposing counsel, and court personnel.
- Ensure adherence to all legal standards and regulations.
Requirements:
- Hold a Juris Doctorate and maintain good standing with the State bar.
- Proficiency in any of the following areas of law: Consumer Debt, Civil Litigation, Foreclosure, Family, Immigration, and Criminal matters will be a distinct advantage.
- Demonstrated experience as a practicing attorney, preferably as an Independent Contractor, Special Appearance Attorney, or Coverage Counsel.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a high-paced environment.
- Capacity to work independently and reliably, requiring minimal supervision.
- Familiarity with legal research tools, proficiency in technology, and usage of tools such as Microsoft Office, WebEx, Zoom, Teams, Westlaw, and Lexis.
