The Clunker Junker makes it super easy for people to sell their junk cars so they have more cash for things like Starbucks and bail money. We're always growing and we need help providing amazing customer service.
What kind of work will you be doing?
Your tasks will mostly consist of the following:
- Answer customer inquiries by phone, text or email. This will entail clarifying the customer's need, followed by locating and providing that information. This could also include explaining how this business works!
- Data entry such as entering customer and vehicle information to provide offers. This could also mean verifying data already entered, correcting and updating information et cetera.
- Escalating any issues to the appropriate department within our company.
We are a very tight-knit company. You'll be collaborating with the company owners and your coworkers on a daily basis. One of our founders is a software engineer and you may work closely with him to improve business processes for efficiency as we continue to grow!
Who are we looking for?
The ideal candidate will have 1 year of experience in a remote customer service role and 2 years of data entry experience.
Reliable high-speed internet with a dual monitor set up and headset required.
Last but definitely not least, we are searching for a team player with impeccable organization and time management skills with a tolerance for repetitive tasks.
Pay and benefits
- Starting pay will be $16/hour, 40 hours a week. As your abilities and responsibilities increase so will your compensation.
- Work hours will be Monday - Friday 10:00am to 6:00pm ET.
- We offer 40 hours of paid vacation per year, and 32 hours of paid sick time per year, effective after 90 days.
- You will receive 1 hour paid lunch each day.
- We offer a $300 health reimbursement account that begins accruing after 90 days. You can use this account to help cover most health, vision, and dental-related expenses as long as you have an active health insurance plan (i.e. from the marketplace).
- After 1 year we do provide the option of opting into contributing to a 401k which the company matches at 4%.
